The hosts were just the kindest people, every one of the staff that helped make our visit so memorable. The chef came out and personally recommended dishes for us. Do NOT skip the pasta with prawns! I don't know what magic he used in the kitchen but I can say with full confidence I have never had a more flavorful pasta than that. Excellent service, excellent food, and the owners are the loveliest people. And you can't beat the seaside location. Do not miss this place when you come to Nafpaktos! I would say the restaurant owner was truly exceptional—one of the kindest and most hospitable people I’ve encountered.
We arrived at the restaurant around midnight, tired and hungry, only to find that all the nearby eateries had already closed for the night. Feeling a bit hopeless, we asked him if there was any chance of getting something to eat, fully expecting him to turn us away since the kitchen had already shut down.
To our surprise, instead of sending us off, he graciously offered to prepare something for us himself.
His warmth and generosity in that moment were incredibly touching—he didn’t have to do it, yet he went out of his way to make sure we were fed. It was a true act of kindness, one that showed not just great hospitality but genuine human compassion.
The food, despite being a late-night impromptu meal, was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, making the experience even more memorable. To top it all off, the price was very reasonable, which made everything feel even more special.

We came for a family dinner and loved the food, the ambience and the exceptional customer service! The greek music playing in the background was the perfect touch to our relaxing dining experience. We ordered the fried calamari, shrimp pasta and beet salad and wound up ordering a second round of everything! The shrimp pasta sauce reminded me of my mom’s cooking made with fresh herbs and garden tomatoes. The beet salad was a unique combination of walnuts, green apple, garlic bathed in balsamic vinegar that we couldn’t get enough of. Came in tired and hungry after traveling and we were looked after so well! We put ourselves in the hands of the owner and were not disappointed! Delicious octopus, squid, shrimp, sardines & fish!! It was a great experience, the food not only tasted amazing but also had a great presentation that blew us away, the view from the restaurant was great and the hospitality the staff showed us was incredible.

We visited Nafpaktos from Hungary and we had a great experience here! The staff is super friendly and welcoming, the seafood is excellent. I definitely recommend to try the shrimps with the house white wine! :) As a dessert they offered us watermelon and honey with amazing greek yoghurt.

Very good food and service. Yianni is a great guy and everybody working there provide a very nice service. Food is like home made, location is gourgues. Prices are very reasonable. Visit there and you will enjoy!

Δεν ήταν τίποτα το εκπληκτικό, αλλά ήταν η πρώτη φορά που φάγαμε σάλτσα ντομάτας φτιαγμένη από τον μάγειρα, και όχι σάλτσα από κονσέρβα. Επιπλέον μας σέρβιραν την ώρα που τα άλλα μαγαζιά είδη έκλιναν.
Οι ιδιοκτήτες, ο Γιάννης και η Γλίκα, είναι ένα πραγματικά υπέροχο ζευγάρι και διαχειρίζονται το εστιατόριο με αγάπη και μεράκι. Μιλήσαμε μαζί τους για αρκετή ώρα - είναι άνθρωποι που με ευκολία συζητούν και για πιο δύσκολες θεματολογίες.
Το προσωπικό και ο χώρος μας άφησαν πολύ καλές εντυπώσεις. Σίγουρα θα επισκεφτούμε το Albatross ξανά την επόμενη φορά που θα είμαστε Ναύπακτο. Το εστιατόριο βρίσκεται σε όμορφη τοποθεσία πάνω στη γαλήνια θάλασσα του Gribovo Beach.
Δυστυχώς, από τη μια μέρα στην άλλη πεθαίνουν τα πλατάνια που υπάρχουν εκεί και πιθανώς θα κοπούν όλα στο σύντομο μέλλον.Μετάφραση
We had a lovely evening at Albatross Nafpaktos on 08/09/2025. We ordered Red Spaghetti (spaghetti with tomato sauce and grated cheese) and fried calamari with French fries. It was nothing amazing, but it was the first time we had tomato sauce made by the chef, and not a canned sauce. In addition, they served us while the other shops were running out of items. The owners, Yannis and Glika, are a truly wonderful couple and run the restaurant with love and passion. We talked with them for quite some time - they are people who easily discuss even the most difficult topics. The staff and the place left us with very good impressions. We will definitely visit Albatross again the next time we are in Nafpaktos. The restaurant is beautifully located on the peaceful sea of Gribovo Beach. Unfortunately, the plane trees there are dying overnight and will probably all be cut down in the near future.

Φοβερό φαγητό, φοβερή εξυπηρέτηση και ωραία ατμόσφαιρα. Φάγαμε για βράδυ εδώ με θέα την θάλασσα και δροσερό αεράκι. Πάρα πολύ ωραίος ο αστακός και οι ταλιατέλες.

We stopped at Albatros to ask for some information and the owner, Giannis, with his behavior and his willingness to serve me and make me something on the spot that I was craving that evening, made us not only stay and eat, but I believe we also made two new friends. Πολύ καλό φαγητό, εξαιρετική ποιότητα. Αναφορικά με τα σχόλια για τη γουρουνοπουλα, το τριήμερο του παζαριού του Αγίου Δημητρίου γίνεται χαμός παντού και πουθενά δεν τρως γρήγορα. Το φαγητό και η εξυπηρέτηση ήταν άψογα και ευτυχώς που δεν επηρεαστηκαμε από αυτά τα σχόλια.

Very good food, excellent quality. Regarding the comments about the pork knuckle, the three-day market of Agios Dimitrios is a mess everywhere and you don't eat quickly anywhere. The food and service were impeccable and fortunately we were not affected by these comments.
